Vision
Originality Technique ImpactThis is a beautiful photograph! It really invokes numerous emotions and elements like mystery, desire, fear, and elegance to pick off a few. The lighting on the face is very well done, it looks like a studio shot. The eye looks sharp and in focus which is great but so is everything else. I would have liked to have seen you use a larger aperture to get just a slightly narrower DOF but that's just me.
There are few minor things that bother me in the photo. the first I think are the stray hairs against the contrasting fabric. for me it's too distracting and takes my eyes away from the natural flow of the photo. Again a larger aperture may have helped here. The other is the hair that peaks in at the bottom left corner. It just feels like the puzzle piece that doesn't fit.
Overall though, I really love this photo. I especially admire how you have achieved such a great composition without any assistance. Great work!
